Daniel Petashnick, M.D.

Dr. Petashnick is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease and refractive surgery. He has certified training and surgical expertise, including procedures utilizing an excimer laser.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Petashnick can effectively diagnose, treat, and manage a range of eye conditions, from complex disease to common eye problems. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Petashnick has guided residents in their training and presented cornea lectures. He has also been named a Top Doc in Connecticut Magazine for several years.

Dr. Petashnick has diverse interests outside of ophthalmology, including: philosophy and religion, the arts, and various athletic activities. When he’s not with patients, he can frequently be found participating in a triathlon.
