
Dr. Pokeza is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist with experience in advanced corneal transplantation, management of dry eye syndrome and ocular surface disease. Dr. Pokeza also served as a clinical instructor to ophthalmology residents and medical students at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
In addition to comprehensive eye care, Dr. Pokeza specializes in performing state-of-the-art corneal surgeries, including full-thickness corneal transplantation, partial thickness endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK/DMEK) and DALK corneal transplants and laser refractive surgery. She has an interest in cataract surgery, especially in patients with corneal conditions. She is experienced in providing care to patients with keratoconus and performing novel cross-linking treatments. As a corneal specialist, Dr. Pokeza also treats corneal dystrophies, corneal infections, and other diseases of the cornea and external eye.
