Dr. DeSimone is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is experienced in diagnosing and treating all types of eye diseases and conditions. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Dr. DeSimone provides comprehensive eye care and has a particular interest in geriatric eye disease. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University and did his medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Graduate Hospital/PCOM Consortium where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. DeSimone has been in private practice for 18 years and has been involved in the teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents as well as Ophthalmology residents. He has been awarded several Teacher of the Year awards. He has also been a clinical investigator in several eye-related medical studies.
He enjoys sports, especially baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is actively involved in coaching youth baseball and basketball. He is a member of several local community organizations.
