Elisa Bano, O.D.

Dr. Bano received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Boston University. She later attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree with clinical honors. She successfully completed a post-doctoral residency at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia in 2013.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Bano held positions which helped her gain extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, management, and co-management of ocular disease; including, diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and ocular emergencies. She also specializes in a variety of contact lens fittings.

In her free time, Dr. Bano enjoys spending time with family and loved ones. She loves learning about other cultures. Consequently, two of her favorite activities are traveling and trying different cuisines. She speaks Albanian and Italian fluently.

One of the ways she provides the highest level of care is by staying on the cutting edge of technology for the optometric field. To her patients, well-being and comfort are paramount.
