
Dr. Jillian Penney is an optometrist with experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Aside from comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings, she also has a special interest in dry eye disease and ocular emergencies. Patient education is of the utmost importance to Dr. Penney and she is known for her great bedside manner and attention to detail.
After attending Millersville University, Dr. Penney earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Afterward, Dr. Penney also completed four different internships across the United States to refine her skills and knowledge in contact lenses, low-vision devices, and ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Before joining ReFocus Eye Health, she worked at a private practice in south-central Pennsylvania.
When not at the office, Dr. Penney enjoys spending time with loved ones and her pets. She is always on the go! You can usually find her trying new restaurants, diving into a new book, or traveling as much as possible.
