ReFocus Eye Health Partners With OOMC
ReFocus Eye Health Expands Across the Northeast with Major New Partnership
ReFocus Eye Health just made one of its biggest moves yet — announcing a strategic affiliation with Omni Ophthalmic Management Consultants (OOMC), a network of established ophthalmology practices and surgery centers spanning New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York.
The partnership brings seven well-known practices into the ReFocus network, pushing the organization past 230 affiliated physicians and over 100 locations across nine states — VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and RI.
Who’s Joining the Network
- Corneal Associates of New Jersey
- Erie Retinal Surgery
- Eye Care Northwest
- Kremer Eye Center
- Ludwick Eye Center
- OMNI Eye Specialists
- Phillips Eye Specialists
Together, these groups bring deep sub-specialty expertise across retina, cornea, refractive surgery, cataract, glaucoma, and comprehensive eye care — along with their own ambulatory surgery center operations.
Why This Partnership Makes Sense
ReFocus operates as a management services organization (MSO), handling the operational and administrative side of running a practice so physicians can stay focused on patient care — without giving up clinical autonomy. That model has made it one of the fastest-growing ophthalmology platforms in the Northeast, and it’s exactly what attracted the OOMC practices.
“We were drawn to ReFocus by their approach to practice management — treating physicians as true partners and prioritizing long-term growth and sustainability,” said Dr. Michael Aronsky of Kremer Eye Center. “It was an easy decision to join forces with them.”
Dr. Douglas Grayson of OMNI Eye Specialists echoed the sentiment: “Their commitment to preserving physician autonomy while providing the operational infrastructure to help us grow aligns perfectly with our mission.”
From the OOMC side, Dr. Christopher Quinn, Executive Chairman, said the respect between the groups has been mutual for a long time. “We’ve long admired what they’ve built with ReFocus. We’re thrilled to now be partnering with them.”
ReFocus CEO Jeff Rinkov called the affiliation “highly strategic,” noting that the incoming physician partners are “exceptional clinicians, deeply entrenched in their communities and extremely complementary to our existing network.”
What This Means for Patients
Nothing changes on the patient side — you’ll continue seeing the same doctors and care teams you already know and trust, now backed by the resources of a larger organization.
