ReFocus Eye Health Adds Solinsky EyeCare, Deepening Its Connecticut Footprint
ReFocus Eye Health has announced a strategic affiliation with Solinsky EyeCare, one of Connecticut’s longest-standing and most recognized ophthalmology practice groups — bringing 11 locations across the greater Hartford region into the ReFocus network.
With Solinsky’s 14 ophthalmologists and optometrists on board, ReFocus now supports more than 250 affiliated physicians across 114 locations in nine Northeast states.

Why This Partnership Makes Sense
ReFocus operates as a management services organization (MSO), taking on the operational and administrative load of running a practice so physicians can stay focused on patient care — without surrendering clinical autonomy. That model is the throughline in every ReFocus deal, and it’s what made Solinsky a natural fit.
ReFocus CEO Jeff Rinkov pointed to the decades of patient trust Solinsky has built as the main draw, adding that both organizations share a conviction that doctors should be spending their time with patients rather than paperwork.
Dr. Alan Solinsky framed it as an extension of the practice’s original mission: modern, comprehensive, compassionate care — now with deeper resources behind it and the assurance that his physicians can keep their attention where it belongs.
Part of a Bigger Northeast Push
The Solinsky affiliation continues a steady run of growth for ReFocus. In March 2026, the organization affiliated with Omni Ophthalmic Management Consultants (OOMC), a network of practices and ambulatory surgery centers across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. Before that, in June 2025, it partnered with Atlantic Retina Center, which has operated six locations across Maryland and Delaware since 2004.
Connecticut was already ReFocus territory — this deal significantly thickens that presence in the Hartford metro.
What This Means for Patients
Nothing changes at the exam chair. Patients at every Solinsky EyeCare location will continue seeing the same physicians and care teams they already know, now supported by the resources and operational infrastructure of the wider ReFocus network.
